Back in the Studio after the BTS BASH in Wetumpka, Alabama

Maree and I are so happy to be back in our studio after attending and participating as a vendor in the BTS – Beautiful Table Setting – BASH 2026 in Wetumpka, Alabama, April 23rd – 25th.  BTS is a Facebook group with over 260,000 members. The BASH event was filled with creativity, lively demonstrations, and opportunities to connect with fellow dish enthusiasts. We showcased some of our favorite designs, new product that will be going live on our site in the days to come and learned so much from the talented presenters and attendees. If you have never gone to a BASH you need to plan to attend in 2027!  There are two annual BASH events one in Vicksburg, Mississippi and one in Wetumpka, Alabama. Wetumpka is the hometown of group founder, May Ridolphi Eason.

The BASH is a celebration of everything related to table setting, and entertaining. Speakers included published author, Melissa Bradley Bishop of Bradley Acres Design. Melissa gave an inspiring presentation on color, layers and textures. A floral presentation was given by the talented Billy Joe Rich, where he used everything from small glasses to foot tubs to create centerpieces using flowers from the yard and grocery store counters. A variety of retailers were in attendance adding fun shopping with both vintage and new dinnerware, linens, jewelry and gift items. Retailers including Tonya Steil with Giggles and Bows of Franklin. There is even a tablescape contest event, where attendees set up tablescapes featuring a centerpiece and one place setting. You will leave inspired and with new friends who all share an interest in table setting and creating an inviting and inspiring table scape.
